BUS – BUSINESS AND ADMINISTRATION

BUS 101 – Basic Family Finances Learn to handle your families finances. Develop a family budget that includes tithing and savings. Create a five-year plan with the goal of becoming debt free.

BUS 401 – Local Church Administration This course provides an understanding of the principles of administration as they relate to the local Church. It is imperative that every pastor and administrator have the knowledge to lead, delegate, organize and implement the Church vision.

BUS 402 – Accounting I An introduction to the concepts, terminology and practices of general accounting.

BUS 403 – Releasing God’s Provision You will learn how to obtain the favor of God and release His covenant blessing in your personal and business finances.

BUS 404 – Church & Clergy Tax Guide An in-depth review of Church and Clergy tax rules and guidelines. A must for Pastors and Administrators.

CED – CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

CED 301 – Creative Teaching & Preaching Learn the basic principles of teaching and preaching starting with how to develop your own library of resource materials, convert them to a teaching or preaching message, understand the do’s and don’ts of public speaking.

CED 401 – Youth Ministry I A Christian understanding of today’s youth, the choices they face, and practical ways of helping them grow from adolescence to adulthood.

CED 402 – Administering Christian Education A study of not only theory but also of practice; it stresses the what, why, and how to of administration. You will gain creative ideas for the development of a vital and dynamic Christian Education program.

CED 403 – Adult Education In educating adults you must have a thorough understanding of their social, psychological and cultural backgrounds.

CED 404 – Children’s Ministry Learn effective ways of reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

CED 405 - Methods Of Teaching Student text, and teacher’s kit with transparencies (instructors only), building on interaction between Jesus and his disciples. Using different methods of teaching, this course provides a model of the dynamic classroom, examines the structure of groups and applies them to each level in Sunday School.
